Talia is a woman with a clear mission to educate on the wholistic wellness of cannabis with style and shamanic healing.

Her business is Hiiighvibe – Cannabis Shaman and Influencer. She also works as an analyst at a College as well as an online personality. She has a Blog, Vlog, Podcast in conjunction with Shamanic Healing services

Cannabis has empowered me to take my wellness into my own hands. After seeing my parents battle with prescription drugs, I choose plants over pills when diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I had to do what was right for me and my well being. I wanted to find out spiritual and medical information about cannabis. I had no idea how little information there is out there for the modern female cannabis consumer….until, one day, I wanted to look up more information. Despite my google searches, online articles/blogs I found very little aside from over sexualized canna babes.

There’s already so much misinformation out there about highlighting the recreational side of cannabis. Today stoners are so much more than a tie dyed shirt or being a Cheech and Chong fan. There’s so much more out there than just a “pothead” demographic,

my goal is to be an educator to the modern woman interested in holistic wellness.

I love snapping pictures showcasing amazing, well-designed, beautiful cannabis products. Today I market my spiritual brand Hiiighvibe as luxurious, high class and the right amount of glamour for the natural girl – this is the Influencer side of my business.

The shamanic side is helping others connect to the sacred plant medicine in holistic and spiritual ways.

My goal is to educate on safe consumption and the potent powers of this medicinal plant.

I help others with education, referrals and recommendations of the right product and intake method

WHY DID YOU START YOUR CANNABIS JOURNEY?

I had a spiritual vision when I was meditating. I clearly saw an eye of an old man frantically searching and landing on me seeing deep into my soul. It was in that moment I knew I had to accept my fate as a Cannabis Shaman.

I was so torn and it was a lot for me to get over my cannabis closet fears – to go public with it; I knew I needed to get over my fears to help others heal. I had a greater calling to inspire and educate others to elevate their wellness.

Cannabis empowered me to take my wellness

into my own hands.

I want to teach others how to do the same. Cannabis is a flower! A powerful flower and her plant spirit needs to be honoured not abused.

HOW HAS YOUR CANNABIS CONSUMPTION CHANGED?

Intention is everything. For reals!

I’ve been depressed before where all I did was smoke weed all day… it didn’t help me. In fact it made my depression worse – it was too strong of a strain for me. High Vibe ladies use cannabis for medicinal, spiritual and occasionally recreational purposes. She knows to take a holistic look into her own well-being.

For example my prescription is 1.5 grams (about a joint and a half) so you can see why a joint, usually, feels like recreational use to me, but not always – sometimes it’s a strong dosage when needed! Let me also state that it’s well documented that cannabis has a variety of adverse effects on users and tolerance levels also vary.

I’m big on micro-dosing! I found many natural remedies helped – everything from tea, journaling, to essential oils and yes Medical Marijuana. Taking this holistic approach to my wellness has been transformative in my wellbeing.

I’ve used Cannabis for:

-Anxiety

-Depression

-PTSD

-Inflammation

-Aches and Pains

-Cramps

-Headaches

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CANNABIS TRENDS YOU’RE SEEING?

Right now I’m so obsessed with all things classy cannabis and especially crystal pipes. They’re so classy, beautiful and spiritual! I love programming my pipes like my crystals, with intentions!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU RIGHT NOW?

Right now learning the spiritual and the medicinal sides of cannabis keeps me inspired. Even though I work full-time I still am so driven by the incredible power of this plant to keep learning, pushing through the stigma and creating inspiring, educational cannabis content.

When I was in Mexico with my Shaman, he made me vow to never abuse this plant again. It’s something I think of consciously before I consume.

From a healing perspective I’m warning you of the consequences of thinking cannabis is going to solve all your problems. You can’t expect to take cannabis and without putting any work and in turn be healthier and happier. This is why the “stoner stereotype” still exists today. That’s not what the modern contemporary cannabis user of today is like, although I do like Jammin’ to Bob Marley in yoga class.

Cannabis needs to feel like the icing on the cake, not the whole cake. I’ve actually had 3 months where cannabis made my depression worse! The strain was too strong, gave me headaches but I didn’t know that, I want you to learn from my mistakes!

As a cannabis shaman and holistic cannabis practitioner my goal is to educate and inspire your wellness to new heights. This sacred plant medicine needs to be respected and treated with the right intention.

One shamanic lesson is the story of the white wolf and the black wolf. There are two wolves inside of us all. We choose which one we decide to feed. We need to have clear, pure intentions with this strong medicinal plant.

When I was in Vancouver for 420 I had the pleasure of collabing with Fashionably High. We were out for a photo shoot when we took a break to meet up with Unity from Blysscloud. This spontaneous meet-up was a highlight of my trip. I’m glad that this interaction “sparked” other collaborations such as these two women continuing to work together for Blum & Grow’s networking event and for photoshoots.

GIVE SOME ADVICE FOR SOMEONE WANTING TO WORK IN THE CANNABIS SECTOR? AN INFLUENCER?

We need cannabis activist and lobbyists, cannabis educators and budtenders. Find your voice and contribute to the space! Make a list and manifest the things you want. Then watch them pour in.

I’m currently working on transitioning out of my day job and into the cannabis industry. From believer in manifesting and visualization so I’m visualizing my dream job in the industry and how I’m going to get there. I like to say I have the best of both worlds working full-time and doing trade shows on the weekends. I do get tired!

It’s very important to be seen as a professional in this space and in my career. I love having the dichotomy of being an analyst and spreadsheets but also getting very spiritual with some ganja. I’m blessed to have a good career with many opportunities and to have a passion that drives me, I can’t wait till they naturally merge!
